Hello! I'm Nicole Warrington - an artist, mother, teacher and adventurer. I was raised in Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver by an outdoorsy family that adventured in the mountains during the winter and sailed the B.C. coast during the summer.
An artist since childhood, I started my formal art training with a Studio Arts Diploma at Capilano College and went on to complete my Bachelor of Fine Art at the University of Victoria, majoring in Visual Arts and Art History.
I have lived in Victoria and Vancouver and now love calling Comox Valley, on Vancouver Island, my home. I enjoy art making, hiking, teaching art, doing yoga and exploring the forest, mountains and beaches with my husband and young daughters.
I have exhibited my original landscape paintings in galleries in Greater Vancouver and Comox Valley. Locally I have exhibited at Art Alchemy, the Comox Valley Art Gallery Gift Shop, The Central Island Studio Tour (Click HERE for details of 2018 Tour) , Broken Fish Studio and several cafes.
While I continue to make and sell original paintings, the birth of my second daughter inspired me to bring my artwork to you in new way. I chose Art of Where as my manufacturer because they provide quality products that are produced in Canada. Wood for the canvas print stretcher bars is from sustainably managed Canadian forests, the fabrics are milled and sewn in Montreal (no sweatshops here!). I take joy in designing the yoga leggings, pillow cases, stationary and other products in this online shop. I hope they bring the beauty of nature to your life and home.
Thanks for being here!
